Recognition of Lance Waddles Standing Bear
On behalf of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe, we’d like to recognize & support one of our own Tribal Members Lance Waddles (Standing Bear). Lance will be representing the tribe in this year’s NCAA March Madness Men’s Basketball Tournament. Lance plays for the Omaha Mavericks, who he helped lead to a historic season by winning the Regular Season Conference Title & Conference Tournament Championship in the Division 1 Summit League. By doing so, Omaha will be making their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament in school history.
We wish Lance & the Omaha Mavericks good luck today as they face off against Legendary Head Coach Rick Pitino and his #2 Ranked team St. John’s Red Storm in the First Round of the tournament.
Tonight’s tip-off is at 8:45 CST, in Providence, Rhode Island.
