Cedar Soil Conservation District 2024 Achievement Winners
Donnelle and Jean Cadotte, Jr have been selected as the Cedar Soil Conservation District 2024 Achievement Winners. Jean is the Conservation Officer for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Dept of Lang Management and has been employed there for over 14 years. Jean has worked closely with the Cedar SCD in Sioux County throughout that time, assisting with the ground prep for their tree plantings. Jean is also in charge of controlling noxious weeds, prairie dogs, and mosquitos throughout the communities on Standing Rock. Jean and his wife of over 30 years have three grown children who they are extremely proud of. Together the manage their ranch of over 500 acres, which has been in their family for over 100 years.
The Cadotte’s will be recognized at the North Dakota Association of Soil Conservation Districts annual convention in Bismarck with other Achievement Award winners from around the State.
