Mission Statement

The Reservation Resources Department works to implement conservation practices of the land resources to protect and enhance Unci Maka (Grandmother Earth) in a sustainable manner for the present & future generation members of the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe.

Vision Statement

The Reservation Resources Department, through stewardship of the land, and implementing the practices & beliefs of our traditional ecological knowledge from our ancestors recognize that Unci Maka (Grandmother Earth) is part of our community and will strive to work with her and for her in order to regain balance and diversity.
