STANDING ROCK 0-5 HEAD START 2024 COMMUNITY NEEDS ASSESSMENT UPDATED 

Head Start program will be in Rock Creek District for the annual community needs assessment surveys. Survey results are used to analyze strength’s, needs and resources of the Head Start program.

Community members who are 18 years of age or older are eligible to complete a survey and will receive a ticket for a drawing for one of the two washer/dryer sets. Two tickets will be drawn on Friday July 12, 2024 at 3:30 pm winners will be notified by 4:00 pm program will announce on KLND radio station. Snacks will be served.

   June 27, 2024                 Kenel/Mobridge-District Building: 10:00 AM-4:00 PM

   July 8th 2024                    Running Antelope-Head Start Center: 11:00 AM-4:00 pm

   July 9th 2024                   Solen, Selfridge and Mcintosh door to door: 11:00 am -3:00 pm.  

  

You can also stop by and pick up/drop off a CNA survey from June 11-July 12th 2024 at Central Office, 200 Proposal Avenue, Fort Yates ND.

6/26/24 Food Distribution Open @ 10:00 A.M.

The Food Distribution Program will open at 10am this morning. We received a truck delivery and are unloading the freight.

Also, the warehouse will remain open all day today. This is the last day to pick up for June.

The program will be closed on June 27-28 for end of the month inventory.

The purpose of this report is to inform you of the quality of the drinking water that we provide. We are required by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to test our water frequently for the presence of over 80 different substances, and as a surface water treatment plant, we monitor the water continually to assure compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA). The EPA Region 8 Office in Denver, Colorado reviews all of our testing data to ensure that we are providing safe drinking water to our users, and we are complying with EPA regulations.

The lntertribal Agriculture Council Youth Program invites you to
participate in the first ever Great Plains Regional Youth Summit!
This summit will be held in Bismarck, North Dakota on July 29-30.
The Great Plains Regional Youth Summit will include 2 days of
informative sessions, along with on-site demonstrations. Topics w
range from community development, natural resources, food
sovereignty, Tribal enterprise, Native climate resources, youth
loans, and USDA opportunities.
Youth ages 14-26 are welcome to apply. All youth under the age <21 will need to be accompanied by a chaperone. Breakfast and lunch will be included for attendees both days.
