ALONG WITH 5 OTHER TRIBES WERE AWARDED

IT IS WITH GREAT EXCITEMENT THAT OWEESTA CORPORATION IS A RECIPIENT OF THE SOLAR FOR ALL PROGRAM UNDER THE GREENHOUSE GAS REDUCTION FUND (GGRF) IN THE AMOUNT OF $156,120,000. THIS AWARD WILL ENABLE OWEESTA TO EXTEND CRITICAL FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR RESIDENTIAL SOLAR GENERATION, BATTERY STORAGE, RESILIENCE UPGRADES, AND WORKFORCE DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO NATIVE AMERICANS COMMUNITIES ACROSS THE UNITED STATES.

4/14 – 4/15 Planned Water Outage Ft Yates

Attention!!
Wagner Construction will be working on a water line leak starting early Sunday morning (April 14th) until Monday Evening (April 15th).

This will affect homes from the state line to the Fort Yates Control (Putnam Hill). Please be prepared to be without water during this time.

As per Title XIX – (19) Rules & Procedures for the SRST Council. . .  19-02. Special Meetings.

As Chair, I am calling a Special meeting regarding: REGULAR TRIBAL COUNCIL MEETING, April 4, 2024. MOTION #109. “Motion was made by Alice Bird Horse, seconded by Cyril Archambault, to approve to ban South Dakota Governor – Kristi Noem, from the boundaries of the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation and to get our flag back.”

Tribal Chambers on April 16, 2024 @ 10:00 AM.

IO highly encourage the SOUTH DAKOTA Tribal Council Representatives attend this Special Meeting.
