Classes will provide education, support, tools and enhance communication skills as well as healthier ways to deal with anger.

The Emergency Management program will be hosting a structural firefighter 1 Course starting Monday, September 30, 2024@ 1900 hours / 7 :00PM at the TERO building conference room in Fort Yates, North Dakota.

On September 16, 2024 the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Council approved to post revisions to Title IV (4), Chapter 4, Pardon for ten (10) days. Pursuant to Title XIX of the Code of Justice, any interested persons may submit comments on Title IV (4), Chapter 4, Pardon which the person believes should be amended.

Members of the Judicial Committee and the Standing Rock Tribal Council will accept oral, written and electronic comments until October 11, 2024. You may submit your electronic comments to the following:

  • Check your propane tanks on a regular basis, contact your local vendor if your tank reaches 30% to avoid run outs abd extra delivery fees.
  • Assist the elderly and handicapped with their tank readings.
  • Winterize your home.
  • The 2025 LIHEAP applications are available October 1st.

SRST Head Start Program NOTICE OF BID

Standing Rock Sioux Tribe Head Start is seeking bids to replace roof at Rock Creek Head Start Center Bullhead South Dakota, the roof is 2,700 square footage replacing with a pro-rib steel, 3 new air vents, 2 power caps, 4 rubber boots.

Bids will be sent to Joseph Montana Facility, Transportation, Maintenance Manager via email to jmontana@standingrock.org, in person or mailed to the following address:

Office Closure for American Indian Day 9/27/2024

In observance of “American Indian Day”, all Tribal employees will be entitled to the Holiday with pay for Friday, September 27, 2024 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
In order to receive pay for the holiday, the employee must be at work or in an approved paid leave status on the scheduled workday before and after, Friday, September 27, 2024.

Tribal Health Administration Planning continues for the Community Needs Assessment for all 8 districts and all Tribal HealthPrograms are assisting. Tribal Health was als oable to purchase gift cards/incentives for future CNA. Collaborating with Smile Network to provide dental services to the McLaughlin and Rock Creek Schools for the month of October. Assisting with building committee for the NEW SD Ambulance Base. Tribal health also started doing weekly staff/director meetings to collaborate so that we may serve the people of SR better.
