2 pm – 7 pm cst. – Selfridge Senior Center

October 29th,2024
7 am- 12 pm cst. – Solen High School
2 pm – 7pm cst. – Cannon Ball VM Building
If you have received an absentee application and wish to tum it in, obtain a ballot and vote in the same day, you are welcome to attend any of these locations provided above!
If you have not received an absentee application please attend any of these locations as we will provide the application, once completed and you will be given a ballot to vote! If these locations do not fit your schedule, the Sioux County Court House is open M-F 8am-4pm where you may obtain an absentee application upon completion you will be given a ballot!

10/7 NDDOT Photo lD Event

North Dakota Department of Transportation to provide non-driver photo lD’s for voting purposes.

Photo ID will be issued for state residents who do not have a driver license or tribal lD card.
Free to the public if 18 or older.

NDDOT staff will obtain photos and documents and
residents will receive a Photo lD card within 5 working days.

DOCUMENTS NEEDED:
1. Must be a Certified Birth Certificate, Court issued name change if applies (Certified Marriage Certificate, Divorce Decree, Adoption Order)
2. Social Security Card
3. Proof of ND Resident PhysicalAddress

Highway 63 Closure from WILDFIRE

The SRST Game & Fish Department asks all citizens to be advised that Highway 63 from the state-line to McLaughlin is closed due to a large WILDFIRE and to please use alternative route at this time.

KENEL CULVERT UPDATE: CLOSED

On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, the section of road above the culvert 5.4 miles north of Kenel will be closed at 12:00 PM CT.

Please used the bypass road north of the closed area until further notice. Sorry for any inconveniences this may cause. Reach out to Acting Transportation/Tribal Roads Director Larissa Young @ 701-301-7463 for any questions/concerns.

October Anger Management Courses

Classes will provide education, support, tools and enhance communication skills as well as healthier ways to deal with anger.

The Emergency Management program will be hosting a structural firefighter 1 Course starting Monday, September 30, 2024@ 1900 hours / 7 :00PM at the TERO building conference room in Fort Yates, North Dakota.

On September 16, 2024 the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Council approved to post revisions to Title IV (4), Chapter 4, Pardon for ten (10) days. Pursuant to Title XIX of the Code of Justice, any interested persons may submit comments on Title IV (4), Chapter 4, Pardon which the person believes should be amended.

Members of the Judicial Committee and the Standing Rock Tribal Council will accept oral, written and electronic comments until October 11, 2024. You may submit your electronic comments to the following:
