1/24/2024 Food Distribution Center Closure

The Food Distribution Program will be closed from 11am-4:30pm on Friday, January 24, 2025.

 

Program staff will be attending the Employee Appreciation event at Prairie Knights Casino.

Food Distribution Program Meal Enhancement Project

The Food Distribution Program is developing a Meal Enhancement Project. Ms. Kathay Antelope and Ms. McKenna Vetter are preparing to host classes this August 2024 and showcase two meal kits and spice packages.

 

The meal kits are beef/macaroni and chicken/rice kits. The spice packages include spices to flavor beef, chicken, fish. There are also spices for pork chops, taco seasoning, two vegetable seasonings and a homemade chili seasoning.

 

The meal kits are made from the USDA food package. All items are coined with the phrase “RED-e” in honor of the late Charles “Red” Gates.

NOTICE TO PUBLIC
On December 5, 2023 the Standing Rock Sioux Tribal Council approved to post revisions to Title X (10), Enrollment for ten (10) days. Pursuant to Title XIX of the Code of Justice, any interested persons may submit comments on Title X (10), Enrollment which the person believes should be amended. Members of the Judicial Committee and the Standing Rock Tribal Council will accept oral, written and electronic comments until February 26, 2023. You may submit your electronic comments to the following: Judicial Committee Chairman, Charles Walker cwalker@standingrock.org

If you are receiving this notice and attachments in your role as District Officer, please post a copy at your local district offices and ensure it is available to other District Officers and District Members.
